Story

Anthony
Anthony was diagnosed with leukemia when we was 18 months old. As if the diagnoses was not devatating enough, we were later told he had a rare type of leukemia, Philadelphia Chromosome. Rare in kids, and common in adults. His prognosis was 20% chance of survival. His physician investigated and updated his knowledged regards treatment, he then placed Anthony on a long and strong protocol of chemotherapy and radiation. Hoping he would respond to it, otherwise, the only other option would be a bone marrow transplant. We prayed to God and focus on getting him trough treatment. Three years later, Anthony is in remission, he responded well to treatment, we had our ups and downs; however, he is a very strong child determined to live and make the world happy. He started schools last week and is able to enjoy being around other kids.
