Story

Brooklyn
On November 8th I was super excited when my doctor said it was time to have a baby. Early the next morning my sweet baby was in my arms. The joy and excitement quickly turnd to worry and fear as she started loosing weight fast and her hands were always blue. After six months of testing and retesting we learnd that Brooklyn has Cystic Fibrosis. This causes problems with her lungs and digestive system. On a "healthy" day she has to take close to 40 pills anlong with several breathing treatments and vest treatments which help keep her lungs clear. When she is sick it is at least a 3 week stay in the hospital. Middle age for kids with CF is around 15 years old.
