Story

Ashlee was born 1 week early w/ a meconium illeus. She ended up getting that out w/ multiple enimas, avoiding surgery! BUT blood tests that were ran concluded that she had Cystic Fibrosis, a progressive genetic lung disease. She now takes daily breathing medications and also takes enzymes w/ every meal or snack. She has had 1 hospital admission (last year) that lasted 10 days for a 'CF tune-up' or IV antibiotics to kick a cough that would not go away. She is now in Kindergarten, 6 years old...doing VERY well academically :o)
